Ferries with discount to Elba
During the summer season car ferries leave from Piombino to Portoferraio - main Elba Island town - almost hourly. There are also daily ferries to Cavo and Rio Marina. The shipping companies are Toremar, Blu Navy, Moby Lines and Corsica Ferries. The crossing from Piombino to Portoferraio takes one hour (30 minutes with Corsica Ferries).
A hydrofoil service (no cars), which arrives only in Portoferraio and Cavo, takes 35 minutes.

Unbeatable location at Fetovaia beach (which is, I would say, the most beautiful at Elba) - the hotel is just above the beach. Great staff - there was not a question they couldn't help us with.
